- Cultivate excellence
- Building One Family under God
Overview
STF is a one year educational program with includes training in fundraising, witnessing, and teaching of Divine Principle. Domestic and overseas service projects, adventure training, and monthly/quarterly workshops enhance the educational experience.
STF participants are primarily high school graduates between the ages of 18 and 21 who defer college enrollment for one year or take a gap year during their studies.
STF training creates a supportive environment for the development of good habits for a life of faith, strengthening relationship with God, True Parents and True Family, and cultivating a sense of identity as sons and daughters of God. The experience of living and working together in teams of 6-8 people creates a small group where STF members can practice sincere God-centered relationships and experience the joy of living for the sake of others through all activities.
STF provides a foundation that enables graduates to influence and transform the culture around them.
Training and activities focus on transcending the barriers between people of different religions, races, and backgrounds to further the vision of building One Family Under God. The option is available of continuing for a second year for focused leadership training and experience.
